S. Renee Sawyer Blume

S. Renee Sawyer Blume is an associate with Prober & Raphael, ALC. She has extensive experience as a Chapter 13 Trustee Senior Staff Attorney and as Debtor's Counsel. Ms. Blume has over 13 years experience as a Senior Staff Attorney for two different Chapter 13 Trustees in the Los Angeles and San Fernando area. She was part of a start-up Chapter 13 Trustee Office and has intimate knowledge of the processes and procedures within the Trustee's offices.

In addition to her experience as a Senior Staff Attorney, Ms. Blume spent over 8 years as Debtor's Counsel and managed the Los Angeles office of one of the largest Chapter 13 Attorney Firms. Her ability to communicate professionally and effectively with debtors, trustees, creditors and the courts is an asset to our office.

Ms. Blume earned her Bachelor's and MBA degrees from California State University, Long Beach with a major in Business Finance. She earned her JD from Loyola Law School and served as Editor of the International Law Review and was the Historian and Vice Magistrar of Phi Delta Phi Honor Fraternity. Prior to her graduation from law school, Ms. Blume externed for the Honorable Bankruptcy Judge, Kathleen Thompson Lax. She has published several articles, including co-authoring a profile of Judge Meredith Jury. Ms. Blume was admitted to the State Bar in 1995 and can practice in all State and Federal Bankruptcy and District Courts within California.
