Diana Torres-Brito
Diana Torres-Brito is an associate with Prober & Raphael. Ms. Torres-Brito has extensive experience in creditor representation in bankruptcy, foreclosure and title litigation. She also has a wealth of knowledge of legal issues affecting the mortgage servicing industry.
Ms. Torres-Brito's past experience was gained in large part through employment with a national bank and mortgage servicer, where she served as in-house bankruptcy counsel prior to holding several management positions within default servicing. In addition, she has worked for firms with primary emphasis on both creditor and consumer bankruptcy representation, as well as foreclosure and real estate litigation.
Ms. Torres-Brito earned her bachelor's degree at the University of California, Berkeley, with a major in Sociology and a minor in French. She obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of California, Los Angeles, where she was a member of the Chicano-Latino Law Review and served as its Articles Editor. While in law school, Ms. Torres-Brito externed for the Honorable Consuelo B. Marshall at the Los Angeles Federal District Court. Ms. Torres-Brito was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1992, to the State Bar of Arizona in 2001 (currently inactive) and can practice in all Federal District Courts within California and Arizona. |
