Mitchell J. Steinberger is an associate with Prober & Raphael. Mr. Steinberger has over 26 years of experience in state and federal litigation, including two decades as a career law clerk to federal Magistrate and Bankruptcy judges in the Central District of California, based in Los Angeles. Before joining the federal court family, Mr. Steinberger litigated federal and state cases for eight years with large commercial law firms in Los Angeles and Orange County.

Having grown up in Ohio, Mr. Steinberger earned his bachelor’s degree from Stanford University in History and Political Science, with Honors and with Distinction. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, where he served on Law Review and earned an American Jurisprudence award. Mr. Steinberger completed his law-school coursework at Harvard Law School in his 3L year, including coursework at the Kennedy School of Government. He is admitted to practice in all four federal District courts in California, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.
